10. Jonathan David

Jonathan David has fast become one of the best strikers in the world. From a young age he’s displayed elite levels of speed, determination, and has shown impressive finishing ability.

As an 18-year old he joined Belgian Jupiler Pro League club KAA Gent in 2018 for two and a half seasons, scoring 37 goals in 83 games before joining Ligue 1 team Lille.

One of the most promising young talents in the world, the Canadian helped Lille to their fourth title in his first season. He continues to be one of the top goal scorers in Ligue 1 and most sought after strikers in Europe. 

9. Ciro Immobile

Despite failed stunts in the Bundesliga and La Liga, Ciro Immobile has become one of the best strikers in the world at Lazio.

His name may not suggest it but Immobile is a versatile striker and great at exploiting spaces. He also possesses great technical ability, is a hard worker, physically strong and a great finisher. 

Immobile has earned Serie A top goalscorer in 2014, 2018, 2020 and 2022. His 2019-20 season was his most prolific, earning the European Golden Shoe with 36 goals.

At 6-foot-3, or 1.9m tall, he’s the perfect modern striker. He’s great in the air, can hold up defenders in the box and he’ll wreak havoc in the Serie A and across Europe for years to come.

6. Victor Osimhen

Osimhen is fast becoming one of the best strikers in the world and is one of the most promising African talents in years. He’s got good height, is fast, physically strong and technically gifted.

Mbappe is one of the fastest players on the planet and leaves defenders in his dust. He uses his explosive pace to create space and scores many goals with his incredible accuracy.

Tactically and technically, Mbappe is elite, and from a young age he’s always had great anticipation that allows him to predict what a defenders next move is going to be. He’ll be hoping to guide PSG to their first ever Champions League title in the future.
