Highest EA Sports FC 24 Player Ratings at Launch

Who has the highest EA Sports FC 24 player rating? A decades-long marriage between FIFA and EA Sports ended over money, which sums up the modern game. FC 24 is still the same game, just in a different jersey. If you’re mad for Ultimate Team like me, then you’ll be keen to know which players have the best FC 24 ratings. Lets take a look at the top 10: 

10 Ruben Dias (89 OVR)

Manchester City has the most players on our list and we start off with dominant defender Ruben Dias. The Portugese centre-back is one of the best in the world and his non-inform base card in FC 24 starts off with an 89 rating. He’ll be very affordable as a result of his 62 pace rating.

9. Mohamed Salah (89 OVR)

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah comes in as an 89-rated player with his base card, which is surprising considering the Egyptian’s 30 goal contributions last year. Regardless, he’s going to be worth an absolute mint in Ultimate Team. FC 24 players will be looking to exploit Salah’s blistering pace and dribbling skills

8. Robert Lewandowski (90 OVR)

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is still widely regarded as one of the best strikers in world football as he hits his mid-30s. His EA Sports FC 24 base card rating is 90, although he’ll be relatively affordable in Ultimate Team as he plays in La Liga.

Although Lewandowski doesn’t have the pace to sweat past opposition defenders, his shooting rating of 91 makes him clinical enough to be the difference in closely contested and competitive games.

7. Harry Kane (90 OVR)

England superstar Harry Kane secured a lucrative move to German giants Bayern Munich and it’ll be weird to play this year’s instalment of EA Sports FC 24 with Harry Kane not in a Tottenham jersey. 

With an overall player rating of 90, Kane will terrorise defences with his shooting accuracy, physicality and passing ability, reflected by impressive attribute stats of 93, 83 and 84 respectively. Kane should also be very affordable compared to recent seasons with his Bundesliga league status. 

6. Thibaut Courtois (90 OVR)

Belgian shot stopper Thibaut Courtois is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and the highest rated keeper in EA Sports FC 24. A massive influence between the posts for Real Madrid, Courtois has been given a base rating of 90 despite the fact his last campaign was cut short due to serious injury.

5. Karim Benzema (90 OVR)

Karim Benzema’s move to Al Ittihad means he’ll be affordable straight off the bat in Ultimate Team. His consistent performances for Real Madrid last season has earned him an overall rating of 90 in EA Sports FC 24 and he’d pair up nicely with the 86 rated Cristiano Ronaldo.

Benzema has got the perfect blend of shooting and passing accuracy to cause havoc for opposition FC 24 players, and he won’t be easy to knock off the ball with a physical and speed rating of 79. 

4. Lionel Messi (90 OVR)

Major League Soccer is one of the best soccer leagues in the world thanks to Lionel Messi. Argentina’s world cup winning captain might finally have been dethroned from his seat of being the best overall player in EA Sports FC 24 but he’s 36 years of age. You’ve only got to look at Cristiano Ronaldo’s rating to appreciate nust how good Messi still is.

Messi will be as difficult as ever to stop with 94 rated dribbling ability in FC 24, and he’ll be more affordable than ever with his MLS league status. 

3. Kevin De Bruyne (90 OVR)

Manchester City’s treble winning team deserved attribute boosts so it comes as no surprise that Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne gets an overall rating of 90 in EA Sports FC. As with previous editions, De Bruyne is an Ultimate Team must with 94 rated passing and 88 rated shooting attributes. 

You can expect to score (or concede) long-range efforts with De Bruyne, and his technique on the ball is sure to frustrate many into rage quitting.

2. Erling Haaland (91 OVR)

Haaland had a record breaking 2022-23 Premier League season and he’s close to the most balanced striker in video game history, boasting 89 pace, 93 shooting, 80 dribbling and 88 physical stat attributes as a base card. He certainly won’t come cheap but for those that have him, he’s going to be like a cheat code in Ultimate Team. 

1. Kylian Mbappe (91 OVR)

If you’ve ever faced Kylian Mbappe, it’s demoralising from the moment you realise the opposition has him. For those lucky (or rich) enough to have him, you can shove it.

Mbappe is the best player in FC 24 with a 91 rating, but its the combination of his 97 pace, 90 shooting and 92 dribbling that makes him so dangerous and sets him apart from others. If you want to win in Ultimate Team, just get Mbappe and button bash your way to victory.
